Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Branch Administration (Mandeville) team in the capacity of: Receptionist - Mandeville (Contract)
Location: Mandeville
As a Receptionist, you will:
Deliver superior service and experience with every interaction to the Company’s clients consistent with the objectives of the division.
Provide prompt and accurate information, process financial transactions and policy changes speedily and accurately.
Greet and monitor the movement of clients to be served by the Client Service Representatives on an on-going basis.
Assist with the completion of forms (including health claim forms).
Provide information to clients on policy status and fund balances.
Introduce clients to other products offered within the group.
Request and dispatch status letters and health cards ensuring that proper verification is done.
Ensure all pertinent data relating to clients are collected at the time of interaction.
Log detailed summary of all interactions with clients on the ECRIS Service Centre portal including complaints.
Receive incoming mail from clients.
Assist with the revenue collection functions.
Provide relief for the Cash Receipting Associate.
Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
Minimum of six (6) subjects at the GCE (Ordinary) or CXC (General) level, including Mathematics and English Language.
Successful completion of LOMA parts 1 and 2.
At least two (2) years’ working experience within the insurance industry.
Sound knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrable persuasiveness, empathy and tact.
Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
