The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, such as daily dispatch sheets, petty cash items, etc.
Delivery and pickup of items, documentation ensuring accurate capture of what the item/documentation is, who requested the transport of the item, who received the item, and obtaining proper signatures.
Keep assigned vehicles free from damage, in acceptable condition, and consistently clean in a manner.
Must ensure that the vehicle is in proper and safe condition prior to use, and accept responsibility to report any damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist.
Manage various products and merchandise responsibly while in the act of loading, unloading, or transporting items, ensuring that cargo is properly secured to avoid damage.
Work extra/overtime hours as needed according to departmental workload.
Operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly, as assigned.
Be willing and able to perform tasks without direct supervision that may require physical labor, and possibly the use of hand tools.
Responsible for transporting product and various items pertaining to departmental moves, long hauls, destroy runs, relocation of product to outside warehousing, etc.
Performs duties as assigned.
The Company bike/vehicle must be kept on premises outside of work hours.
The bike/vehicle must only be used for Company business
You will be the responsible custodian for the goods between the time it leaves the Pharmacy to when it is delivered.
Your essential responsibilities will be to represent Fontana Pharmacy in a friendly, courteous and caring manner upholding the values and good customer service of the company. You will perform delivery duties according to the daily schedule of the Pharmacy. The scheduled times will be assigned by the pharmacist according to the demand and deliveries will cover Barbican/Waterloo Community and surrounding areas (to be decided).
All instructions for delivery MUST come from managers or their designate.
Small pickups and deliveries will be assigned when necessary.
DELIVERY PROCESS:
Deliveries checked off in detail with pharmacist before logged for delivery.
At the point of delivery bearer needs to verify the items vs requested order with the customer.
After verification then payment is effected using point of sale.
If there is a discrepancy, call the pharmacist before for instructions before making any decision
Customer must sign the log book as proof of delivery received.
RETURN POLICY
No returns will be allowed on medication once the item has left the store.
Returns will only be accepted if Fontana is at fault.
Refrigerated items CANNOT be returned unless Fontana is at fault
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions above, this position may be required to perform a combination of other supportive functions, to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of Fontana Limited.
Job Requirement
EXPERIENCE; EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATION
At least 3 CXC’s inclusive of Mathematics and English.
At least 5 years driving experience.
Certificate in Customer Service
Experience in riding a bike
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
