Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking to identify a suitable candidate to join our Insurance Operation Services – Revenue Operations & Payment in the capacity of, Third-Party Payments Associate
Location: Kingston
 
 
As a Third-Party Payments Associate, you will:
  • Process all third-party unallocated payments from unidentified suspense, investigate and respond to queries relating to third party payments.
  • Process manual voucher cheques and money tree entries in an accurate and timely manner to facilitate the effective operation of the department.
  • Review, investigate and apply payments that appear on third-party exception report to designated destination.
  • Investigate and respond to queries relating to third-party payments within the specified time frame.
  • Calculate money tree policies.
  • Prepare third party monthly reports for submission to the supervisor within the specified time frame.
  • Input all manual vouchers within the stipulated time frame.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of the FLMI, ACS or other industry specific designations.
  • At least three (3) years working experience including one (1) year in an operations division of a life insurance company.
  • Excellent human relations, time management and analytical skills.
  • Customer-service oriented.
  • Expert knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
