The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, such as daily dispatch sheets, petty cash items, etc.
Delivery and pickup of items, documentation ensuring accurate capture of what the item/documentation is, who requested the transport of the item, who received the item, and obtaining proper signatures.
Keep assigned vehicles free from damage, in acceptable condition, and consistently clean
Must ensure that the vehicle is in proper and safe condition prior to use, and accept responsibility to report any damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist.
Manage various products and merchandise responsibly while in the act of loading, unloading, or transporting items, ensuring that cargo is properly secured to avoid damage.
Work extra/overtime hours as needed according to departmental workload.
Operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly, as assigned.
Be willing and able to perform tasks without direct supervision that may require physical labor, and possibly the use of hand tools.
Responsible for transporting product and various items pertaining to departmental moves, long hauls, destroy runs, relocation of product to outside warehousing, etc.
Performs duties as assigned.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:
In addition to performance of the essential functions above, this position may be required to perform a combination of other supportive functions, to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of Fontana Limited.
Other:
In order to properly service our clients, you may be required to work outside of our scheduled business hours.
Timely execution of duties in keeping with pre-arranged schedule.
Care and diligence in protecting the organization’s assets
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Job Requirement
EXPERIENCE; EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATION
At least 3 CXC’s inclusive of Mathematics and English.
At least 7 years driving experience.
Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license – General Open
Good knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
Must possess excellent time management skills
Must be able to work on shifts and public holidays
Must be flexible enough to work on weekends if required
Strong customer service skills
Positive, professional attitude.
Good oral and written communication skills are a must
Clean driving record
Must be able to lift over 40 pounds
