Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Retail Banking team in the capacity of:
Project Assistant (6-Month Contract)
- Assist with Know Your Clients (KYC) remediation, ensuring that clients’ accounts are updated timely and accurately on core banking system in keeping with regulatory standard.
- Be effective and efficient in contacting clients to clarify/ verify and request additional information as needed.
- Ensure that client service is always maintained at its highest standards.
- Perform KYC remediation/ ensure clients’ accounts are updated on core banking system.
- Contact clients to clarify/ verify and request additional information.
- Monitor branches KYC email in-box daily.
- Scan and upload KYC documents to T24 for each CIF record.
- Provide ongoing assistance and guidance to branches with queries for the KYC Project.
- Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of six (6) CSEC subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
- Training in Customer Service would be an asset.
- At least one (1) year working experience in data entry would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of commercial banking operations functions would be an asset.
- Customer-centric with good interpersonal, communication and complaint handling skills.
- Working knowledge of Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
