Job Description:
Ophthalmologist required to join the Team at Vision Express Medical in St Lucia
Requirements:
- Excellent English required, and if not your native language, certification will be required by the Medical Council
- Ability to relate easily to all types and ages of patients
- Oculoplastic surgery skills would be very useful
Work will be as part of our friendly patient centered team.
The Medical Center, at Orange Grove Plaza, has a two operating room, surgery suite, we perform minor, cataract, glaucoma and all retinal surgeries. We have higher than average percentage of Glaucoma and Diabetic retinopathy patients in the region.
Equipment for Consultative work includes:
- Visual Fields
- O.C.T
- Zeiss Clarus Fundus Camera
- Corneal Topographer
- Yag laser
- Iridex Laser
- Collagen Cross linking Equipment
Plus:
- Fully equipped surgery suite
- A full license , as ophthalmologist, will be a required approval, by the St Lucia Medical Council
- Full documentation will need to be readily available for Board approval .
