Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Branch Administration (Holborn) team in the capacity of: Branch Administration Assistant
Location: Kingston
As a Branch Administration Assistant, you will:
  • Provide timely and efficient administrative support to the Branch Manager and Financial Advisors in achieving the objectives of the Branch.
  • Provide administrative support in the day-to- day activities of the Branch.
    • Assist the Branch Manager, clients or Financial Advisors in processing queries, documents, and forms relating to the relevant departments.
    • Assist with the preparation of information kit/ folders for Branch retreats/ meetings.
    • Audit stationery level and submit requisition.
  • Prepare minutes of branch meetings.
  • Record, check applications and submit to the Scanning Centre for processing.
    • Alert Financial Advisors of incomplete applications which have been returned.
  • Dispatch policy contracts to Financial Advisors.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Branch Manager and Branch Administration Associate.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
  • Minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE “O” level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Minimum of one (1) year working experience in a life insurance company.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Basic knowledge of life insurance principles.
  • Sound human relations and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
