SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT- (VACANT)
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Human Resource Management.
Job Purpose
To conduct organizational reviews, system and procedures studies within the Agency and to support the management of the Performance Management process and other initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participates in the corporate planning process and supporting the implementation of the reform initiatives
- Examines trends in service delivery and other environmental factors in tandem with the Agency’s organizational structure to ensure that adequate structure is in place and aligned to enable the achievement of objectives
- Providing feedback to divisional heads and recommends areas for improvements, where necessary/directed.
- Conducts job evaluation sessions to review job descriptions.
Technical/ Professional Responsibilities
- Conducts agency-wide organizational reviews
- Conducts surveys to determine areas of weaknesses
- Documents areas in need of strengthening in terms of structure, systems and human resource development
- Ensures that the relevant job descriptions for the undertaking of functions in each department are up to date and are available
- Documents areas in need of strengthening in terms of structure, systems and human resource development.
- Develops detailed plans of action, in collaboration with the relevant parties, including targets and deadlines.
- Examines relevant statutes, regulations, directives and reports related to the organization to determine legislative framework for functional framework.
- Collects job-related data through interviews, questionnaires, observation and examines records to validate findings.
- Examines the delegation and exercise of authority, grouping of functions and inter relationship of organizational entities to determine any significant bearing on departmental operations.
- Studies formal and informal lines of communication and controls and the allocation of planning and developmental activities.
- Conducts detailed analyses of data collected.
- Develops specific recommendations/solutions to problems identified, including changes in organization and dimension of work boundaries, and, relationships regarding:
- Functional and Organizational Structure
- Span of Control
- Channel of Coordination and Communication
- Manpower Utilization
- Forms
- Develops new and revised job descriptions.
- Prepares charts of existing and proposed organizational structures.
- Discusses findings and recommendations with divisional heads and senior managers to arrive at consensus.
- Prepares and issues report of findings and recommendations.
- Assists with the implementation of recommendations

- Conducts research to examine the operations and workflow of the selected entities to determine systemic weaknesses (e.g. duplication/overlaps, waste) as well as activities that do not add value.
- Support the management of the Performance Management System and other reform initiatives.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor/Manager.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management Studies or Social Studies or equivalent qualification
- Three (3) years’ related working experience
- Specialized training in Management Consultancy/Analysis and/or Project Management
Remuneration Package:
- Salary Range: $2,350,735.00 - $2,517,298.00 p.a.
