Sagicor Property Services Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Estate Management (SPS) team in the capacity of: Collections Assistant (Contract)
Location: Kingston
As A Collections Assistant, you will:
- Support the work of the Collections Officer, through the collection and administration of all leases owned by the Sagicor Group and third party property portfolios.
- Provide assistance in the collections process:
- Assist in emailing invoices, check for accuracy and deliver to clients.
- Assist in logging and preparing lodgment of payments and updating clients’ accounts.
- Assist with contacting clients and performing follow-ups with delinquent clients.
- Assist in processing returned cheques and adjust accounts accordingly.
- Assist in posting utilities meter billings.
- Assist the Banking, Investments & Subsidiary Accounting team with client account reconciliations.
- Assist with post-dating cheques.
- Ensure correct posting of rental and maintenance payments.
- Prepare demand letters for clients in arrears.
- Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- A minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE O’Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
- At least one (1) year working experience in property administration.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of products and services offered by Sagicor Property Services.
- Good accounting knowledge.
- Good customer service orientation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Good time management, analytical and organizational skills.
