Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Revenue Operations & Payments team in the capacity of:
Co-op Audit and Research Associate
Location: Kingston
 
 
As a Co-op Audit and Research Associate, you will:
  • Select and review co-ops paid in an effort to perform required audits.
  • Apply grades to individual Coop Processors in order to track the accuracy of productivity and research and correct anomalies in the processing of coop payments to ensure client satisfaction and the achievement of the department’s goals and objectives.
  • Perform weekly audits of at co-ops in order to track accurate productivity of each Co-op Processor accurately within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Generate the automated Cayman/ Jamaican salary deduction files for distribution to Co-op Processors and advise Supervisor as soon as file is received and distributed.
  • Approve and input journal vouchers and cheque requisitions daily accurately within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Prepare weekly payrolls for temporary (PFP) team members.
  • Prepare monthly reports for submission to the Supervisor within the stipulated timeframe or as needed.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
  • Minimum of an associate’s degree in business administration or related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of LOMA (parts 1 and 2) or other industry related designation.
  • A minimum of two (2) years working experience within the insurance industry.
  • Excellent human relations and time management skills.
  • Client service oriented.
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
