Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of: Assistant Manager – Non-Insurance Services
- Work alongside Marketing Manager -Non-Insurance Services to coordinate the planning, execution and review of all marketing activities.
- Ensure that the companies’ brand values are reflected in all client touchpoints, including all public-facing areas.
- Ensure that the overall corporate image of Sagicor is maintained at all times.
- Work on projects related to Sagicor Group Jamaica when required.
- Implement marketing strategies in keeping with the overall company strategy.
- Prepare and submit annual marketing plans and budgets for all divisions in conjunction with the business.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of marketing programs and make recommendations accordingly.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in the development of new products and services.
- Ensure that all advertising communication materials/ channels are up-to-date, accurate and consistent with brand standards.
- Liaise with advertising agency to develop and/ or refresh advertising campaigns across all media.
- Manage and motivate the marketing team, ensuring that the requisite training and professional development plans are developed and executed
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Communication, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in marketing or related field, including experience in successfully executing marketing activities.
- Experience in the financial industry would be an asset.
- Ability to lead and manage project teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to create and deliver high impact marketing presentations.
- General understanding of the financial industry and regulatory environment.
- Strong business thinker and negotiator.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets, word processing, database management, communication and graphics tools.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle.
