Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of: Assistant Manager – Non-Insurance Services
Location: Kingston
 
 
As an Assistant Manager – Non-Insurance you will:
  • Work alongside Marketing Manager -Non-Insurance Services to coordinate the planning, execution and review of all marketing activities.
  • Ensure that the companies’ brand values are reflected in all client touchpoints, including all public-facing areas.
  • Ensure that the overall corporate image of Sagicor is maintained at all times.
  • Work on projects related to Sagicor Group Jamaica when required.
  • Implement marketing strategies in keeping with the overall company strategy.
  • Prepare and submit annual marketing plans and budgets for all divisions in conjunction with the business.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of marketing programs and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in the development of new products and services.
  • Ensure that all advertising communication materials/ channels are up-to-date, accurate and consistent with brand standards.
  • Liaise with advertising agency to develop and/ or refresh advertising campaigns across all media.
  • Manage and motivate the marketing team, ensuring that the requisite training and professional development plans are developed and executed
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Communication, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in marketing or related field, including experience in successfully executing marketing activities.
  • Experience in the financial industry would be an asset.
  • Ability to lead and manage project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver high impact marketing presentations.
  • General understanding of the financial industry and regulatory environment.
  • Strong business thinker and negotiator.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheets, word processing, database management, communication and graphics tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle.
