Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Insurance and Pension Revenue team in the capacity of:
Sessional Merchandising Clerk (Contract)
- Implement inventory control procedures to enhance the effective monitoring and dispatching of items to the correct recipients.
- Assist recipients with collection of items.
- Monitor inventory for the end of year period.
- Perform quality checks on stored inventory and meet delivery (non-corporate) timelines.
- Update and maintain inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
- Implement loss prevention programs to prevent theft.
- Ensure items distributed are in good condition.
- Distribute inventory items to the intended recipients.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience as an inventory clerk or a similar role.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Working experience in merchandising.
- Knowledge of latest inventory/ merchandising trends and best practices.
- Strong people skills with the ability to function under pressure.
