Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Revenue Operations and Payment team in the capacity of: Refund & Transfer Assistant
Location: Kingston
 
 
As a Refund & Transfer Assistant, you will:
  • Process transfer and refund of payment from CAPSIL suspense accounts.
  • Recommend/take corrective action when anomalies are identified to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Process refund requests from CAPSIL suspense accounts.
  • Review and verify financial transactions on computer system.
  • Prepare cheque requisition for approval by Team Leader.
  • Submit information to generate cheque from suspense account.
  • Process transfer requests from CAPSIL suspense accounts.
  • Review and verify financial transactions on computer system.
  • Prepare journal voucher for approval by supervisor.
  • Submit information to transfer money to other policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
  • Minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE level subjects including English Language and Mathematics or a Diploma in Business Management or a related discipline from a recognized institution
  • LOMA Parts 1 and 2 or other industry-related designation would be an asset.
  • Minimum of two (2) years working experience in the operations division for a life insurance company.
  • Excellent human relations and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications
