Alliance Financial Services Limited, a member of the Sagicor Group is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Cambio team in the capacity of: Cambio Manager
Location: Kingston
 
 
As a Manager - Cambio, you will:
  • Have responsibility for ensuring that all regulatory requirements and liquidity needs of the department are met.
  • Ensure the timely buying and selling of foreign currencies, setting competitive foreign exchange rates and managing the portfolio of client relationships.
  • Clearly communicate the goals and vision for the department and to engender a culture of teamwork, ensuring prudent management of the foreign exchange portfolio.
  • Manage Cambio trading team and ensure that their duties are performed timely and accurately.
  • Monitor cash liquidity management.
  • Liaise with Bank of Jamaica to ensure all regulatory requirements are met by the institution.
  • Liaise with local & international vendors/ couriers to ensure processes are running optimally for settlement and shipments.
  • Provide final approvals of files/ documents for new onboarded clients and updates for existing clients.
  • Liaise with nominated compliance officer for further investigation of advanced due diligence, risk assessment reports, and other compliance related issues.
  • Manage Cambio client relationships to ensure growth in the portfolio.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies, Accounting, Economics or Banking from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • At least four (4) years working experience in management, banking or working in a financial institution.
  • Basic knowledge of the local and international foreign exchange market.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Has command of financial concepts.
