Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of: Marketing Associate (6-Months Contract)
- Work closely with the Marketing Analyst to streamline marketing expenditure, conduct research and review sponsorship proposals.
- Ensure that the overall corporate image of Sagicor is always maintained.
- Assist with the processing of invoices.
- Ensure sponsorship management activities are reviewed and approved within the stipulated timeframe.
- Support the Marketing Analyst in day-to- day marketing activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of a Diploma or Associate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in marketing or related field, including experience in successfully executing marketing activities and, preferably, experience in the financial services industry.
- Action-oriented with a strong drive for success.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong customer focus, strong interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages, including spreadsheets, word processing and database management application.
