Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Security Operations team in the capacity of: Group Security Supervisor
Location: Kingston
As a Group Security Supervisor, you will:
Analyze the Group’s fraud reporting portal.
Review and monitor closed cases and action all cases escalated for further investigation.
Assist with conducting investigations related to allegations into misappropriation of funds and general fraudulent activity from internal or external individuals.
Request and analyze information, statements and records to determine the facts and the identification of possible breaches in policy and procedures.
Attend disciplinary meetings, preparing the requisite documentations such as reports and police statements.
Analyze the Group’s fraud reports through the fraud portal, monitoring, reviewing and assigning cases logged, closed and escalated for investigation and preparing quarterly reports.
Conduct preliminary investigations into escalated cases of fraud.
Request meeting with affected parties and request statements and additional information.
Have one-on-one interviews/ discussions with the individuals in question.
Assist in the resolution of queries from internal and external personnel.
Assist with the coordination of anti-fraud and security workshop training Sessions across the Group.
Prepare police statements for responsible officers for court proceedings.
Attend site visits and create security detail flow chart for Sagicor sponsored events.
Assist with the branch evaluation process to ensure the safety and security of property, clients and team members.
Assist with the resolution of ATM and branch surveillance issues.
Attend site visits and create security detail flow chart for Sagicor sponsored events.
Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Law, Law enforcement or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
At least three (3) years working experience in investigative work such as security or audits.
Thorough knowledge of the Group’s policies and procedures relating to operations.
Thorough knowledge of the products and services of the group.
Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Sound knowledge of security systems.
Basic knowledge of investigative techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent human relations skills.
Detail oriented.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
