Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Card Operations team in the capacity of: Embossing Associate (Contract)
Location: Kingston
As an Embossing Associate, you will:
Emboss and package Visa credit cards and Mastercard debit/ prepaid/ credit cards in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure adherence to strict internal custody controls and policies and procedures.
Deliver efficient and effective client service to internal and external clients and courier partners, by adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).
Adhere to custodial arrangements for all cards, ensuring that proper custody and controls are maintained.
Collaborate with and foster relationships with other units/ departments & agencies by promptly communicating issues and concerns and ensure they are handled in a timely manner.
Liaise with courier partners.
Conduct research for branches/ agencies upon request.
Respond to client correspondences and queries/ escalations where applicable.
Run embossing process and prepare/ print credit card mails.
Encode, emboss and package daily credit, debit and prepaid cards and deliver to Dispatch Associate.
Encode and emboss monthly renewal cards for verification by supervisor.
Ensure balancing of daily card stock.
Manage inventory for consumables.
Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
Minimum of a Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Management
Studies, Finance, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Strong analytical skills.
Some card acquiring/ issuing knowledge would be an asset.
Ability to work well on their own.
