Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Card Operations team in the capacity of: Embossing Associate (Contract)
Location: Kingston
As an Embossing Associate, you will:
- Emboss and package Visa credit cards and Mastercard debit/ prepaid/ credit cards in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure adherence to strict internal custody controls and policies and procedures.
- Deliver efficient and effective client service to internal and external clients and courier partners, by adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Adhere to custodial arrangements for all cards, ensuring that proper custody and controls are maintained.
- Collaborate with and foster relationships with other units/ departments & agencies by promptly communicating issues and concerns and ensure they are handled in a timely manner.
- Liaise with courier partners.
- Conduct research for branches/ agencies upon request.
- Respond to client correspondences and queries/ escalations where applicable.
- Run embossing process and prepare/ print credit card mails.
- Encode, emboss and package daily credit, debit and prepaid cards and deliver to Dispatch Associate.
- Encode and emboss monthly renewal cards for verification by supervisor.
- Ensure balancing of daily card stock.
- Manage inventory for consumables.
- Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of a Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Management
- Studies, Finance, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Some card acquiring/ issuing knowledge would be an asset.
- Ability to work well on their own.
