Job Summary
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for operationalizing human resource strategic initiatives and provide administrative support to promote a healthy work environment across the
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • This position reports to the Group Human Resource and
  • Development Manager.
  • Assist with the development, documentation, planning, direction and execution of human resource programmes, policies and practices including: employee recruitment and selection, discipline, grievance, counselling, employment
  • contracts, remuneration and employment terms, learning, training and development, succession planning, culture, employee relations, and performance management;
  • Monitor, measure and report on human resource metrics
  • and issues, opportunity and development plans and achievements within agreed format and timeframe;
  • Effectively collaborate with all other departments to promote
  • alignment in supporting the success of Group’s strategic
  • plans;
  • Assist with the preparation of Human Resource Department
Minimum Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Competencies 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field;
  • Two (2) years of related work experience;
  • Professional certification in human resources would be an asset; 
  • Knowledge of human resource management and development, Labour Relations and Industrial Dispute Act, Pensions and 
  • National Insurance provisions, and any related recent amendments;
  • Good interpersonal, team building and time management skills;
  • Strong ethics, confidentiality and reliability;
  • Detail oriented and highly accurate;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with clear customer service orientation;
  • Competence in MS Office suite.
