Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking suitable candidates to join our Summer Mentorship Programme in the capacity of: Summer Intern

Location: Island-wide

Our Summer Mentorship Programme offers aspiring young professionals currently enrolled in 6th form or a tertiary-level institution the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a corporate environment. The programme is designed to provide hands-on exposure, professional development, and mentorship to help students build the skills needed for their future careers.

As a Summer Intern, you will:

• Gain experience in a corporate setting through mentorship across the various areas in which Sagicor operates, such as Insurance, Banking, Investments, Employee Benefits, and Real Estate.
• Perform duties as assigned by your supervisor to support team goals and objectives.
• Contribute to an exceptional client experience through professional and attentive service.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• A diploma with a minimum of five (5) CSEC or GCE O ‘Level subjects, including English Language and a numeric subject.
• Current enrolment in an Associate’s Degree (CAPE or A-levels) or a Bachelor’s Degree at a recognized tertiary institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A high level of confidentiality and strong organizational abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of Sagicor Group Jamaica and its subsidiaries is an asset.
