Job Description
The Beauty consultants sell beauty products by helping customers choose the right products to buy. In this role you’ll give customers advice on how to make the most of their appearance, and sometimes give makeovers to demonstrate products. Ensuring that customers are given quality service at all times.
Advising customers on the best products to complement their appearance. You’ll give customers advice on how to make the most of their appearance, and help customers find the products that meet their needs and sell customers as many products as possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
- Conducts demonstration of products
- Assists with the restocking of products
- Must be knowledgeable of products to be able to recommend products to customers.
- Ability to meet sales goals.
- Build customer relations through follow-up calls,
- Ability to recruit new customers,
- Stocks shelves, and organize sales areas.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of the particular products being sold and the cosmetic industry in general
- Understands information about new products being developed and emerging on the market.
- Gives product demonstrations for customers.
- Sells customers as many appropriate products as possible.
- Operates a cash register, credit card machine and computer.
- Orders new products when necessary.
- Stocks shelves and display counters.
- Skincare consultations
- Manages product inventory
- Any other reasonable duties
Job Requirement
EXPERIENCE; EDUCATION OR CERTIFICATION
- Certified Beauty Consultant (from a recognised institution)
- Must be Customer Service certified
- At least three (2) years’ experience (retail would be an asset).
- High School Diploma
