WESTERN AREA MANAGER
The Western Area Manager leads a team that is responsible for the operational/business outcomes through forging and maintaining key relationships with the critical LPG bulk customer base. This position ensures the receipt of products into storage and the delivery of bulk product to Franchise, IGL Plants and bulk customers in the western area in accordance with the required standards and to accurately account for all inventory delivered and stored. He/she is responsible for attainment of the monthly operational activities and sales targets for LPG Cylinders, LPG Bulk and IM Gases.
He/she:
- Ensures budgeted targets are met and exceeded where possible to sustaina
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility including but not limited to the loading and offloading of propane and butane inventory at the terminal;
- Leads and champions the adherence and compliance with all safety and Monitors and manages all sales activities of the facility, including Retail, Wholesale & Accessories, to ensure established targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensures that operations of all facilities in the Western area remain in compliance with external rules and regulations (eg. Factory Ordinances)
- Monitors the daily, weekly and monthly management of stock/inventory balances of LPG bulk products, IMG Cylinders and fittings and accessories to account for Company assets so to provide on time quality service to customers;
- Ensures all financial records and related transactions are brought into the accounting records of the Company as per policy and procedures;
- Directs and oversees the work of direct reports including setting targets
- Supervises the activities of the Western Area Service Technicians to ensure that customer service/installation requests or complaints are efficient and standard time frame of 24 hours
- A First Degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of five (5) years working experience with increasing responsibility and a proven track record in leading teams
