Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of UNDERWRITING ASSOCIATE
 
Reporting to the Broker Underwriting Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling underwriting processing and documentation for assigned portfolio of accounts ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to established standards.
 
The candidate should have the following competencies and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Insurance qualification and certification (distinct advantage)
  • Customer Service Training 
  • Proven underwriting and customer service skills 
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Good interpersonal and human relations skills 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word and Excel 
  • At least three (3) years Underwriting experience
