Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Project Implementation develops and directs the implementation of strategies and plans to achieve post contact project implementation objectives of HAJ Ltd. to contribute to the organization achieving its vision, mission and goals. In addition, the Senior Manager, Project Implementation, leads and manages all post-contract related technical disciplines and provides necessary guidance and support.
The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Registration Board (PERB)
- Understanding and experience in Contract Administration
- Training and experience in Project Management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (including Civil 3D), MS Office, and other design software
- Member of the Jamaica Institution of Engineers is desirable.
- Sound knowledge and application of the FIDIC, CIC and GOJ standard forms of works contract.
- Sound knowledge and application of infrastructural design (roads, sewerage system, water distribution system, storm water drainage and other civil infrastructure installations.
- Sound knowledge in structural designs.
- At least five (5) years' relevant experience in construction management for the housing sector, preferable subdivision developments including sound knowledge of the local housing sector regulatory framework ;
- Experience in managing, inter alia, multi-disciplinary technical teams, stakeholder management, project scheduling, budgeting, construction methodologies and activities.

- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats
- Excellent human relations skills
- Excellent Reporting Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Excellent design standards and technical skills
- Sound Computer Aided Design and word processing software skills
