National Bakery invites applications for the post of: Sales Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the annual sales budget
- Maintain the efficiency in the distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company’s products and services in the region to achieve or exceed the sales targets
- Supervision of a team of Route Auditors to ensure the market is serviced adequately and timely.
- Ensure adherence by Sales Distributors to the terms laid out in the Distribution Agreement, and its timely review
- Maintain accurate up-to-date sales data
- Conduct regular market visits to assess route coverage,
- competitive activity and continuously search for new
- increase and improve the sales effort.
- Devise strategies to assist the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute activities in the Key Accounts trade to enhance and support sales growth and market penetration
- Develop and execute trade and customer management plans to support Key Accounts expansion and development
Qualification and Experience Required
- Master's in Business Administration
- At least five years of experience working in sales, ideally in the fast moving consumer good market
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft of MS Office Suite and other computer applications
- A valid food handlers permit
