The University of Technology, Jamaica, School of Hospitality & Tourism Management in the College of Business and Management seeks to identify suitable candidates to fill the following post: Lecturer: Food & Beverage Management (Full-Time)
The successful candidate should possess at Least a Master’s Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management or a professional certification at the highest level in this area of specialization or a related area.
- The candidate should possess a minimum of three (3) years’ professional experience in Food and Beverage Operations, preferably at the management level.
The incumbent will need to demonstrate a clear commitment to teaching and research, show evidence of successful educational/training practice, bar and beverage management, dining room services (basic and advanced), banquet and restaurant operation. The incumbent will also need to offer teaching through a variety of means including lecturers; practicals, small group tutorials, problem-based learning, and ‘e-learning’ initiatives, as well as will be expected to innovate in each of these areas.
