Finance & Accounts Manager - Kingston
JOB PURPOSE
Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the Finance and Accounts Manager provides vigilant stewardship of the finance and accounting functions in support of the effective operation of the company.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the general Financial Accounting operations of a manufacturing company.
- Develops and communicates strategies and plans to manage the risk facing the company on an ongoing basis.
- Manages the financial matters relating to staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders as appropriate.
- Manages the payroll and procurement systems
- Assist with the strategic and operational planning process in the company.
- Assists in the preparation of statutory financial reporting along with the coordination of the annual Audit process.
- Assists with the preparation of the annual budget in accordance with agreed guidelines
- Manages the company's inventory systems
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- BSc in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- 3-5 years' experience in managing an accounting department.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA is required.
- Good business acumen, sound commercial management abilities
- Proficiency in the use of the relevant Accounting Systems
