An expanding company supplying air conditioning solutions building fixtures & fittings is seeking a dynamic, passionate, performance driven Business Development Manager to join its team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and improving the company’s profile, solutions, services, and market position through expanding and managing residential and commercial project sales, and reseller channels.
Main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with management on the strategic sales and marketing plan to support B2B objectives
- Build & maintain “High Level” relationships with key decision makers including real estate developers, engineers, project managers, contractors & others
- Significant field travelling locally and regionally to develop project sales opportunities
- Carefully assess and create detailed proposals, and cost/benefit analysis specific to project needs
- Manage sold projects within timelines, cost, and client expectations
- Identify, lead and coordinate required resources for trade shows and seminars
Desired competencies
- Organized, highly motivated, and ability to work on own initiative to influence projects outcomes
- Technical Sales experience with demonstrated success in consultative selling
- The ability to learn, understand and present technical concepts, and reports
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal & savvy networking skills
Qualifications & Requirements
- Tertiary level education and or demonstrable industry experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with AutoCAD and other related design software is an asset
- Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
