    Reports to: Recruitment & Retention Manager
    Location: Kingston -Waterloo

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Assistant to support our staffing needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to find top talent for various positions across our locations. This is a great opportunity for new grads or anyone looking to grow their HR career in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in various stages of recruitment process for retail roles across company locations
    • Post jobs on internal and external recruiting platforms.
    • Review resumes and schedule screenings for qualified candidates.
    • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate progress and notes during recruitment process.
    • Communicate professionally with candidates regarding application status and interview details.
    • Provide support at hiring events, job fairs, and other recruitment
    • Assist with reference checks, scheduling job knowledge testing and other
      pre-employment processes.
    • Assist with reference checks and ensure completion of all required pre-boarding documentation
    • Facilitate the scheduling of exit interviews
    • Aid in retrieving data from ATS to generate reports

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role
    • Minimum 1 year recruitment experience
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent customer service , communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Familiarity with ATS software
    • Technical competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Googledocs),.
    • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • High Volume recruitment experience is considered an asset
    • HRIS experience is considered an asset
