TRADE DEVELOPER
A leading distributor in the beverage industry seeks Trade Developers to help grow its sales and distribution in Western and Eastern Jamaica. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Among other tasks, the Trade Developers willbe expected to:
- Build and sustain awareness of the company’s brands through continuous engagement of new customers.
- Seek promotional opportunities and execute sales and merchan-dising functions in assigned areas.
- Develop and foster meaningful business relationships with the assigned sales channels and cultivating an understanding of our customers and consumers purchasing habits.
- Create demand for the company’s products through innovative and unique promotional offers.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The Trade Developers will have strong leadership and organisational skills, and should have the following qualifications at the minimum:
- Certificate/Diploma, preferably in Marketing.
- At least two years in Sales/Marketing or related field
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
The Trade Developer posts require individuals who are willing to work long and unusual hours, including weekends and public holidays. Each individual must also own and operate a reliable motor vehicle (preferably an enclosed van that can carry promotional material & products). They should reside in, or close to, their areas of responsibility.
