Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Premium Accounts team in the capacity of: Co-op Assistant (Contract)
Location: Kingston
As a Co-op Assistant, you will:
- Update computer records with information from salary deduction forms and process salary deducted payments.
- Process all requests for change in method of payment to Salary Deduction options.
- Process Refunds and transfers from Unprocessed and Unidentified Suspense accounts.
- File all Journal Vouchers and Requisitions within the stipulated timeframes.
- Prepare monthly reports for all refund/ transfers processed the stipulated timeframes.
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.
What do you need?
- Minimum of six (6) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
- Completion of LOMA (Parts 1 and 2) or other industry related designations.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ working experience including one (1) year in an operations division of a life insurance company.
- Excellent human relations, time management and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of insurance policies and processes.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
