Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Insurance Services (Client Care) team in the capacity of: Client Care Associate
Location: Kingston
 
 
As a Client Care Associate, you will:
  • Effectively administer a small number of accounts on the Government portfolio (GEASO/ MEDIGAP) ensuring that clients’ requests are dealt with promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
  •  Conduct Monthly Reconciliations.
  • Provide clerical assistance within the Data/ Reconciliation unit to process member data received for the various accounts on the Government Portfolio.
  • Assist with the preparation and dispatching of correspondence & health cards on a timely basis
  • Process member data received from Group Listing (membership/payment reconciliation):
  • Including additions/ cancellations, transfers and reinstatements.
  • Liaise with members regarding information needed to resolve issues that may arise with data.
  • Sort and file incoming correspondence, enrolment cards, payment listings.
  • Prepare correspondence notices, request health cards and dispatch to the relevant Field Services Officers (FSO).
  • Prepare monthly reports for submission to immediate supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
 
What do you need?
  • Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
  • At least two (2) years’ working experience in the Life Insurance industry.
  • Completion of the AHIP (Parts 1 & 2) designation would be an asset.
  • Sound time management, human relations and communication (oral/written) skills.
  • Sound Knowledge of computer software packages word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to undertake research, analyze results and make decisions.
